I often find myself thinking about different things relating my job and I frequently walk from room to room in the house having little discussions with myself (no I’m not mad!) about things I’ve read and things I’ve experienced or done.
Since deciding to completely change my career path in 2014 and launch myself from more years than I care to mention working in an office environment to the completely different perspective of becoming a sports massage therapist, I have gone through so many changes and have learned such a lot of things that I was never aware of. I always kind of knew that the body was a pretty amazing thing but, now? Well now I’m beginning to realise just how amazing it actually is and how I have completely taken it for granted.
When I set up my website which was a very challenging but very rewarding venture, I had loads of stuff that I wanted to say but I was very aware that if I’m attracting people towards my website then I need to not waffle on (I’m known for it - ask my family, friends and husband about my war and peace emails!) but to ensure that I give out the relevant information needed but not to bombard everyone.
So that’s when I thought about the idea of doing a blog and putting into writing my various thoughts, ideas, things that interest me etc etc. I have a few ideas and I’m almost finished with my first one which I’ll post very soon. Here comes the disclaimer - whatever I write about or express opinions on are purely my own ideas and opinions and in no way will I declare that whatever I’m writing about is what you have to do. It’s more about giving you food for thought and some friendly advice and guidelines. I am not a health/fitness guru or font of all knowledge but I do know some things and if I can share them with a wider audience to help in any way then that’s great. And likewise, feedback is always good and questions or (constructive) opinions are always appreciated.
Obviously, as much as possible I’m going to relate what I’m writing about back to my profession which is of course anything to do with the soft tissues of the body but if you have any particular subjects you’d like me to expand on a bit more or cover then please do get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.
